How to book a rental car at Tuzla Airport

Booking is simple β€” go to our website, choose your dates and vehicle, enter your details, and confirm. The whole process takes under 2 minutes and you receive an instant email confirmation. No credit card required to book β€” you pay (cash or card) at pickup. We recommend booking at least 2–3 days in advance during summer (July–September) as availability fills up quickly.

πŸ’‘ Tip: Book 7+ days and get an automatic 10% discount β€” perfect for a summer holiday.
2.

What happens at Tuzla Airport on arrival

After landing at Tuzla Airport (TZL Dubrave), follow signs to the arrivals hall. Our staff member will be waiting at the exit with a sign bearing your name. No need to find a counter, no shuttle bus, no waiting β€” it takes 5 minutes to sign the papers and you are on your way. If your flight is delayed, we monitor arrivals and will adjust accordingly.

πŸ’‘ Tip: Save our number () in case your flight lands early or late.
3.

Prices β€” what you pay and what is included

Our prices start from 49 KM (~€25) per day for a compact car, up to around 200 KM (~€100) for premium SUVs. Every price includes: third-party liability insurance, 17% VAT, and unlimited mileage. There are no airport surcharges, no administration fees, and no mandatory upsells. The price shown when booking is the total price you pay.

πŸ’‘ Tip: Bosnia's currency (KM) is fixed at 1.95583 to the euro β€” basically 2:1, easy to calculate.
4.

The deposit β€” how it works

A refundable security deposit of 500 KM (~€255) is required at pickup, paid in cash. This covers any damage to the vehicle during your rental. The deposit is returned in full on the day you return the car, provided there is no damage. If you prefer not to pay a deposit, our Super Casco insurance option eliminates it entirely and also covers damage to the vehicle itself.

πŸ’‘ Tip: Searching for "rent a car bez depozita" (without deposit)? Choose Super Casco at booking β€” no deposit needed.
5.

Insurance β€” what is covered

Basic third-party liability (TPL) is included in every rental β€” this covers damage you cause to other people's vehicles or property. What is NOT automatically included: damage to your own rental vehicle. For full peace of mind, add Super Casco insurance which covers all damage to the vehicle and eliminates the 500 KM deposit. We recommend Super Casco for mountain driving or if you plan to drive in Croatia or Serbia.

πŸ’‘ Tip: Super Casco = no deposit + full coverage. Worth it for trips longer than 5 days.
6.

Fuel policy

We use a full-to-full fuel policy. You receive the car with a full tank and return it with a full tank. If you return it without a full tank, we charge for the missing fuel at current pump prices plus a service fee. There is a petrol station on the way to the airport β€” easy to top up before returning. Petrol in Bosnia is significantly cheaper than in Austria or Germany.

πŸ’‘ Tip: Fill up at the petrol station near Dubrave village, just 2km from the airport.
7.

Border crossings β€” Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro

You can take our rental cars to Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Slovenia and North Macedonia β€” just inform us at the time of booking. The Green Card (international insurance) is included for these countries at no extra cost. Bosnia is perfectly positioned for multi-country trips: Croatia's Dalmatian coast is about 200km from Tuzla, and Sarajevo is 130km away.

πŸ’‘ Tip: Combine Bosnia with Croatia β€” inform us at booking and we sort the paperwork.
8.

Tips for driving in Bosnia

Roads in Bosnia are generally in good condition. The roads between cities can be winding in mountain areas but are perfectly fine for standard cars. Speed limits: 50 km/h in towns, 80 km/h on regional roads. Alcohol limit is 0.0% β€” strict zero tolerance. Google Maps works perfectly throughout Bosnia. Petrol stations are plentiful and fuel is cheaper than in Western Europe.

πŸ’‘ Tip: Avoid driving mountain roads at night if you are unfamiliar with the area.
